“As a well-spent day brings happy sleep, so a life well used brings happy death.”
– Leonardo da Vinci

Understanding What is Happening
This is a hard process, there is no way around it. If you would like professional insight before scheduling, just call or text to talk it over.

  • What is the cost? Depending on the species and size of your animal, you can expect to pay between $350 and $450 for our at home euthanasia service. This includes all necessary medications and travel costs.

  • Where is it done? Wherever you and your animal are most comfortable - outside, in your lap, on the floor, etc.

  • What do we do with the remains? Some people do choose to handle after-care on their own. If you would like assistance with cremation, we utilize Pet Passages in Melbourne. They have many options for cremation services that can be found on their website, melbourne.fl.petpassages.com, along with their prices.

  • What medications are given and what does an animal do during this process? Your animal will first be given an anesthetic, which will cause them to slowly drift into a state of painless unconsciousness. When ready, a barbituate euthanasia solution is given which slows and then stops the cardiovascular and respiratory systems for a peaceful passage.
